What Happens On The Day

Now in its 20th year, right here at Stanford Hall – 4 great firework displays! Three of the UK’s best firework companies compete against each other with a 10-minute spectacular firework display choreographed to music followed by a breath-taking, huge finale display. The types of fireworks being used by the companies are unlike any material used for fireworks available to the general public, each company uses category 4 fireworks, which are only for professional use and the biggest available in the UK.

The event is one of a kind in the UK After gazing at the illuminating fireworks and lasers, watching all the teams battle for the Fireworks Champions title, the audience has all the power in their hands (through their mobile phone) to decide the winner. How exciting! Texts will be charged at normal rates and a limit of 1 vote per number is in place. Each voting number receives a text back with the results.

Imperial Lotus Southeast is a company based in South of England with 20+ years of expertise, backed with history as well as Winners of the 2023 British Musical Fireworks Championships in Southport and will be competing in the Champion of Champions 2025. We believe in delivering exceptional service and a personalised experience for whatever your client's occasion may be.

Imperial Lotus Southeast have not only exhibited their pyrotechnic art across the whole of the UK but Internationally they have been fundamental in display delivery in Malta, Italy, France and Spain. We have also visited factories in Japan and China which has helped us import our own products.

We have spent many hours designing our display tonight using MLE's designer software and it will be fired using their Fire By Wire system. We have chosen some of the best Fireworks currently available here in the UK from Spain, Italy and of course China.

Our displays are backed up with the latest hardware and software on the market and top of the range firing systems such as FireOne. This gives us an opportunity to show off our creativity but, more importantly, provides us with the reliability that is absolutely crucial in this industry.
This will be the first time Imperial Lotus has competed in Fireworks Champions and our crew are really looking forward to it. We will go out and have fun, put on a great show for the audience and show what we can do. We have a wide range of products from around the world, Italian, Spanish, Chinese to name a few.
We hope for good weather and friendly competition on the day.

MLE Pyrotechnics was founded in 1999 just before the millennium and has become one of the leading companies in the firework industry.

We specialise in providing unique high quality displays all over the world ranging from weddings to large scale outdoor events and import a wide range of premium quality fireworks for their own use and supply to other UK companies.

Clients include the UK’s largest free bonfire night event as well as other key names such as Sainsbury’s, Oxford University, Karcher, Morrisons, the RAF, MTV and Ford.

MLE have been firing displays internationally since 2005. In 2014 we were awarded 1st prize in the St Brevin firework competition. In 2018 we were invited to fire a 10 minute pyromusical display at the 2018 Liuyang firework contest.

Sister company, FireByWire Limited, manufactures digital computerised firing systems used for accurately setting sequences off at the press of a button. This technology is used worldwide by companies and is one of the most sophisticated systems available.

Our attitude is to constantly evolve and improve what we do. We work with the very best suppliers and factories around the world and combine this with a team of passionate crew members bringing a diverse skill set ranging from programmers through to engineers.

In 2013 we introduced the world famous Vaccalluzzo Italian fireworks to the UK, working with the factory we are exclusive importers/distributors for the UK marketplace. They also hold the same agreement with Pirotecnia Zaragozana from Spain.

Stanford Hall is located right in the middle of England, with access to all motorways and airports (1 hour from the base of the M1 and 35 minutes from Birmingham International Airport).
